While it's clearly no crime, we've all been guilty of putting zero effort into our outfits once the weekend hits. And who can blame us? Who has the energy to even try to attempt to look put-together when the only plans are coffee runs and dog walks. Yet, as part of showing up for ourselves, it's important to add intention into how we present ourselves. So whether it be getting your steps in, meeting friends at a cafe, or leisurely strolls through cute neighborhoods—here are some polished-up weekend inspiration that doesn't require much thought (just a little creativity).

START WITH THE BOTTOMS

Easy ways to breathe new life into your bottoms category are as simple as swapping out sloppy shapes for more streamlined silhouettes. Those elastic scrunch sweatpants...save them for lounging at home. Ease into upgrading with minor swaps like switching to wide leg sweats in elevated fabrics like cashmere, cotton, or linen. If you prefer denim, go for a baggy, relaxed shapes that give off a more casual vibe. Utility silhouettes such as cargo pants or military-inspired trousers are also chic and comfortable options.

STYLING IS KEY

DO remember that styling has the utmost potential to transform even the most basic of pairings like jeans and a tee. Layering pieces and adding relaxed styling cues can instantly upgrade a look from zero to one hundred. Try options like tossing on a luxe knit over your shoulders to feel a bit more polished. Or, that designer handbag that you only use on special occasions—break it out for brunch with friends. Prefer a more athletic touch? Throw on a fresh cap for a cool sporty vibe, and most importantly...always finish off every single look with a pair of eye-catching frames.
